"Bhakti Luhur" Foundation is a social institution which specially takes care of the disabled with full attention  who are poor, disadvantaged and abandoned. Formally, "Bhakti Luhur" Foundation has been established in Madiun on August 5,1959. The centre of "Bhakti Luhur" has been step by step, gradually moved to Malang in 1975.

       ALMA (Association of Board of Missionary for Laymen) is the Organization which owns and runs "Bhakti Luhur" Foundation . ALMA, with its specific MISSION and VISION, i.e. giving services to the disabled who are suffering due to one or some other defects , such as physically, psychologically, mentally, social-economically disorders, which cause them to suffer and being  leg behind in their development.

[n general , the fields of services of "Bhakti Luhur" Foundation comprises:

• EDUCATION for the disabled and for the therapists.
• CLINICAL Therapy and Psychological Tests.
• LODGING/HOUSING/DORMITORIES for all handicapped children of all kinds of handicapped.
• THERAPY and Guidance for all handicapped and their nurses. {Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy)
• WORKSHOP for training for working and guild skills.
• RBM/CBR (Rehabilitation Based Community /Searching-Care-Nursery for the non lodging patients.

The handicapped children and the clients that we are serving for to include various handicapped :

• The blinds  and the  Low Vision
• The deaf-mutes.
• Mental Retarded
• Physical handicapped, unsociable
• Multiple handicapped.
• Epilepsy
• Cerebral Palsy
• Mentally Disorder
• Medical  Case: Cataract, hare lips, Aneurysm, Tuberculoses, goiter etc.
